Approximately six years ago I started being conscientious about the potential negative effects of too much artificial light at nighttime, particularly the blue light spectrum. I even bought some special glasses to filter out the blue light spectrum. Something about a zeitgeber…now there’s a fun word for ya. On a related note, I’m delighted by the new “night shift” feature on the iPhone, which reduces the blue light spectrum emitted by the screen.
